Description
Burlington is a white-tie tailcoat in a dense 350 g/m² barathea, with the fronts cut sharply away and the tails finished to the back of the knee. The lapels are faced in black silk grosgrain and every buttonhole on the coat is worked by hand.

How to Use
- Worn with a white marcella shirt, white waistcoat and white bow tie
- The tails must break at the back of the knee — check the length at the fitting
- Only the waist button is ever fastened; the cut-away fronts stay open
- Correct for weddings and ceremonies before 3pm; after that wear a dinner jacket
Care
- Hang it on the long hanger immediately after wear so the tails fall straight
- Dry clean by a specialist only — the silk facing marks with heat and water
Please Note
- Silk grosgrain facings water-spot permanently
- Made to measure: measurements are final once the cloth is cut
- This is not a dinner jacket — a tailcoat is only correct for white tie
Returns & Exchanges
30 days from delivery, including one free fit adjustment on made-to-measure
- Fit issues reported within 7 days of delivery — the first alteration on a made-to-measure garment is covered by us
- Garment returned unworn and unaltered by any third party, with the hanger, dust bag and basted threads intact
- Order number plus photographs of the garment as worn are required with every claim
Not eligible for return:
- Made-to-measure garments cut to your measurements cannot be returned or refunded once the cloth has been cut
- Garments already hemmed, shortened or altered outside our workshop
- Cloth cut lengths, monogrammed pieces and any garment personalised to your instructions
