Description
Clerkenwell is the plain single-breasted waistcoat, cut in a firm 280 g/m² Super 120s with a shallow V and a straight hem. Because the back is self-fabric rather than lining satin, it can be worn with the jacket off without looking undressed.

How to Use
- Wear it alone over a white shirt with the top button open
- Under a jacket it removes the need for a belt — the trousers carry brace buttons
- Adds a layer and a bit of warmth to a two-piece without changing the line
- Dove grey lifts a charcoal suit; keep the tie darker than the waistcoat
Care
- Dry clean it with the suit so the cloth lots stay matched
- Hang rather than fold so the front edge keeps its set shape
Please Note
- Leave the bottom button undone — the hem is cut for it
- Made to measure: measurements are final once the cloth is cut
- Do not steam the front edge flat; the seam is set and can lose its line
Returns & Exchanges
30 days from delivery, including one free fit adjustment on made-to-measure
- Fit issues reported within 7 days of delivery — the first alteration on a made-to-measure garment is covered by us
- Garment returned unworn and unaltered by any third party, with the hanger, dust bag and basted threads intact
- Order number plus photographs of the garment as worn are required with every claim
Not eligible for return:
- Made-to-measure garments cut to your measurements cannot be returned or refunded once the cloth has been cut
- Garments already hemmed, shortened or altered outside our workshop
- Cloth cut lengths, monogrammed pieces and any garment personalised to your instructions
